But it totally ignores the fact that LBC planning officers lied on the pre planning reports. It totally ignores the fact that LBC granted planning permission on the basis of falsified plans. It totally ignores the fact that LBC failed to inform us (or any other of the flats) of impending planning change or that they falsified documents to cover that up. It totally ignores the fact that LBC planning officers conspired with the owners and tenant of the shop downstairs, to allow them to install a sub standard, dangerous and noxious flue (top of page) just because I refused to allow them to run it properly to the roof. BUT there was one thing the Ombudsman couldn’t ignore. Croydon Council gave these obnoxious people planning permission to install it ON MY PROPERTY. . . . They couldn’t get round that one. And so despite desperately ignoring the matter for eighteen months Croydon Council were forced to act, albeit reluctantly and ordered the shop to dismantle it despite have given the advice to put it there in the first place.
My award for TWO YEARS of campaigning? . . a measly £350 . . but only because LBC ignored the problem improperly . . there is no reprimand or penalty for them doing it wrong in the first place. . . . . . lets be clear about why I say measly. . . . That is but 1½ hours cost of my Solicitors time. I have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on this dispute, as these sites will testify.

Go stand in the corner for 5 mins, and then we’ll forget all about it. . . The £350 award doesn’t even pay for the visits the Ombudsman made to investigate them.
