In their "extreme defence" first of all their Council Catriona "Merciless when necessary". Duthie, St Johns Chambers, Bristol tried lying to the Judge regarding that damning "heading" on their original estimate (the heading that stated they had included costs which were NOT my responsibility and which they had refused to explain to the Law Society or the Judge). However, they didn't push this too far because the Judge said he was tempted to ask for a transcript. If he had done so I'm sure Catriona Duthie would have weaseled out of it by claiming that her memory was at fault. Yeah, Right! Certain business people, their accountants, solicitors and bank managers have been together in a 'ring' for some thirty years in driving people out of business and picking up their business premises, homes, farms, plots of land etc way beneath market value, financed by amongst other things black market and drugs money. Originally it was thought the area was around Aberystwyth, Mid Wales but it quickly became apparent that these scams are widespread throughout the country.

Solicitors' commercial arrangements with claims management companies undermine their duty to the client, says John Barstow. SOLICITORS ARE seen as “arrogant, slow and crooked” according to an article in the Guardian on 26 August 2002 reporting the ICM Poll commissioned by the RAC.
The Law Society in England and Wales appears to have abandoned all pretence of maintaining any decent standards at all. It is a complete and utter waste of time contacting the Legal Ombudsman, as once again staff at the Ombudsman's office like Simon Entwistle, are selected by non other than the Law Society. They are swamped with client complaints, and consequently cannot cope with the influx. It is far easier for them to dismiss a claim, and hope you won't bother them anymore,than to spend time investigating your case. The Law Society and it's members top the list when it comes to "cover ups", simply because they do NOTHING to assist the public in a negligence claim. Judges also "cover up" serious solictor/barrister misconduct, and I have evidence to back up that claim.

or clients they suspect are involved. Ram Saroop, the new president of Bradford Law
Society, has pointed out that new legislation makes it a criminal offence not to
do so and lawyers face prison and risk their careers if they are not on their guard.
The new offence is committed where a person knows or suspects funds have been obtained
as a result of terrorism, drug trafficking or other criminal conduct.
Mr Saroop, a

TWIN websites dedicated to exposing corrupt Scottish lawyers were shut down after their internet service provider in the US apparently caved in to legal pressure.
Lobby group Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers (Sacl), whose leading light is aristocrat Stuart Usher, and scottishlawyerwatch, run by former Scottish rugby internationalist Mike Lloyd, immediately pledged to return to the web within days via another jurisdiction. They are understood to have switched the sites to China, and the Sacl site (www.sacl.info) went live again within 24 hours.
Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers, which claims hundreds of members, has run a highly vocal campaign demanding that the Law Society be banned from investigating complaints against solicitors.
Usher himself was the subject of a TV documentary focusing on his unproven allegation that Edinburgh law firm Brodies' stewardship of Borders family estates had cost the Ushers millions of pounds. A (pounds) 45m claim brought against Brodies was withdrawn by Usher's legal representatives last year.
Lloyd, who is also webmaster of the Sacl site, was told by American ISP Freewebs that the provider could not continue to support the sites. They were both taken down 10 days ago.
The letter read: "As you know, we have protected your site for some time from removal
because we deemed it to be within allowable speech under the US Constitution's first
amendment. Unfortunately, the parties you have offended have aggressively pursued

In a statement, meanwhile, the Law Society of Scotland said it was not responsible, adding: "The society's only comment on these and other similar sites in the past has been that solicitors are the very people who support freedom of speech as long as it is within the parameters of the law, including the laws of defamation."
The Faculty of Advocates also denied any involvement. "The faculty can confirm it has taken no steps to close these sites," said a spokesman.
Usher told The Herald that similar legal pressure had led to the sites being switched from the UK to the US 18 months ago. In a statement supplied by Usher, Scotland Against Crooked Lawyers said: "The (pursuers) must have been very intimidating to cause a US commercial enterprise to abandon the protection of one of the roots of American democracy.
"The very fact that the ' aggressive pursuer' chose to close down our website by secret threats rather than sue SACL for defamation indicates that those Scottish law firms and individual lawyers appearing in our Rogues Gallery know that they stand correctly accused of a whole host of illegal and corrupt activities. This precludes them from suing SACL as this would mean humiliating exposure for them."
The group added: "SACL is delighted that it has forced its opponents into illegal and secretive methods including intimidation to close its website. SACL suspects very strongly that it has cost these ' aggressive pursuers' thousands of pounds to achieve their end."

Thomas McGoldrick, 59, of Faulkners Lane, Mobberley, Cheshire, lived a life of "extravagance" while taking the cash from client Keith Anderson.
Mr Anderson, 45, was awarded £1.8million following a crash in Croydon in November 1996 which left him paralysed from the chest down.
When he received damages in May 2001, McGoldrick drew up a forged letter allegedly
from his client "gifting" him half the money.

from McGoldrick's, for professional bungling and incompetence. It took me, with no
assistance from the Law Society, many years to get this sorted out.

dealing with someone so arrogant and corrupt, and the solicitor was not responding

Brian Dougan, a solicitor from Northern Ireland , was jailed for three months at
Liverpool Crown Court for converting or transferring the proceeds of criminal conduct.
He was found to have allowed £66,000 to pass through his client account while carrying
out conveyancing work for a convicted criminal.
This follows hard on the heels of
another conveyancing solicitor Phillip Griffiths being jailed for 15 months for failing
to make a disclosure to the authorities, knowing or suspecting money laundering offences
were taking place.

I am being sued in The High Court of Justice. For Harassment because MCP Law
knew a case of defamation wouldn’t stick. (it’s not defamation if it’s true). I
thought it would be reasonable to represent myself. That all I had to do was show
that I was telling the truth and they (by their own admission) were lying. I was
horrified and appalled to find that MCP Law Solicitor Jonathan Burton’s description
of lying through their back teeth. The complete opposite of the truth, for a period
of three months to me in spring 2006. Would be accepted by the Judge as “On reflection
that was not entirely accurate”. And the Judge commented . . . “Oh well they must
have had a reason” . . .
