(It is inconceivable that Croydon Council have not investigated this matter already. It would only take a day. David Wechsler claims that they cannot do so now because they are under investigation from The Local Government Ombudsman. But that is a load of rubbish. What he actually means is that LBC will not release the results of their investigation. The reason is of course; that if the report is not totally honest, (which would be very incriminating given the circumstances). It may well then be at odds with the Ombudsman’s findings. And thus they would be found guilty of deception in writing. . . Besides, they have no excuse, the Ombudsman writes to me on 24th November 2004 “ If the Council takes action to resolve your complaint, please let me know.” . . . Fat chance of that. . . . . . . . The above cartoon was produced in January 2005. So there have been a few updates. The long awaited report was promised on the 11th January to the Ombudsman but would take three more weeks. A remarkable coincidence is . . . that promise was made . . . the day after I reported the matter to the Police as a crime. . . and sure enough it was produced. . . Full of lies, mistakes and possible falsification. . . .

You make one phone call to your pals at Croydon Council to check it out. . . . . and now you go completely silent on the matter too. . hhhmmmmm! . . this behaviour may well turn out to be more significant than Croydon’s silence on the matter.Have you seen on the television programs, those tar pits in California? You know the ones with all the dinosaur bones in them. The reason they are so full is this. A little animal came along and got stuck. And the noise of it struggling attracted the attention of a bigger one. And that got stuck too. Which looked like a nice dinner for an even bigger one. But that got stuck too. And the animals that came along got bigger and bigger but in the end they all got stuck and disappeared into the tar and were not seen again for millions of years.

Well dear ol Geraint is no longer with us as it were, so that turned out to be prophetic. And the list above could do with some updating. All of the above have at sometime or other ignored the matter. Geraint did come back on board , all be it reluctantly when I sent that letter and similar ones to all the other MP’s asking them to have a whip round for him. You see he wasn’t answering my faxs, which meant that either his machines had broken down or he was as bent as those at Croydon Council. Despite claiming 10% above the National average for an MP (a remarkable achievement for a London MP) his fax machines were actually out of order . . . he told me . . . . . and he had got a new one now so no need for the whip round.
Others who got involved : . . but when they found out, this was not simply a matter of a planning mistake . . . but the result of corruption backed off as fast as they could.

The Director of Finance Nathan Elvery also wanted some of it and appointed Dyane Malcolm Senior Complaints Officer to investigate. But all she did was pass it on to Planning which is about as useful as a shuttlecock in space. . . Now they don’t want to know either . . . but they gotta do something . . because they are compelled to take me to court for refusing to pay my Council Tax.
Others worthy of mention are Hugh Malyan Labour Leader (was) of Council was very astute and never replied to a single letter.
Rory Macleod . . Head of Planning Control who was asked to ‘investigate’ (yeah right) . . .TWICE . . . a year apart . .(he forgot about the 1st time) . . and only sent one letter and backed off immediately at my reply . . . . both times.
But we come back to the beginning to finish. The proprietor Mrs Dyer was my best mate for a brief while, when she realised everything the freeholder Patel had told her was a lie. . . . and we spoke of ‘persuading’ Patel on the basis of those lies to give up the freehold. I would buy it and let the shop to her for HALF PRICE.

ALL OF THE ABOVE KNOW WHAT WENT ON IN THIS CORRUPT PROCESS TO SOME DEGREE OR OTHER. . . . THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT THE PROOF OF CORRUPTION. . . . IT IS THERE FOR ALL TO SEE. . . . ITS ABOUT 15 FEET LONG, WEIGHS SEVERAL Cwt AND IT’S BOLTED TO MY WALL. . . . IT IS BAD ENOUGH THAT IT GOT THERE . . . BUT THE RELUCTANCE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT IS FAR FAR WORSE. . . . I worked for a Public Utility for 30 years. When they were run properly before they were sold off to the City. And in those days if the Chief Engineer got a letter of complaint like the one I sent David Wechsler. With obvious proof of wrong doing as we have here. . . . . It wasn’t sorted the next day . . . It was sorted out OVERNIGHT IF NECESSARY.
